This Santoku knife translates as, suited for the 3 ways of Santoku: slicing, dicing and mincing. It is a really big, powerful knife, being one of the heaviest and strongest in the range, it will take a lot of punishment. The blade is really good for chopping vegetables as it has quite a flat profile, but can be used for slicing meat too.
